Goa with my friends (July 19th-2008)

Goa- a place where young adults, families & single people visit for some fun on the beaches. One can do some water sports, have a chilled drink on the beaches, eat some shack food, relax by the pool or just enjoy in a cool resort room.
I went there for none of the above. I went to Goa when I was only 8 months old so basically I could do nothing.
As you can see from the photo above, I went with 4 of my friends. Because I enjoy other children's company, I had a good time playing with them but since we were all so young, none of us had the same schedule to eat & sleep. We did meet for breakfast, lunch & dinner though. Our fathers took us in the pool on the second day which we all enjoyed. That was my first time in the pool. My mommy tells me that once the rains stop and the weather gets better, she will take me again to the pool.
I do wish to go there someday soon when I'm a little bit older so I can enjoy some of the attractions.

Babies Night

Last night (March 15th Saturday) ... my mommy invited 4 of my friends home for dinner with their parents. I got dressed up in my grey english dress to welcome my friends.
There was- Rishvi, Treisha, Jennaaya & Dhruvin. Diya was missing.
My parents made some home made starters and ordered Dominos pizza for dinner.
The house was noisy with all my friends shouting, crying, or playing. I spent some quiet time playing in my room with my nanny.

My mommy took some photos of me & my friends with our papas.

Some of my friends

I'll introduce you to some of my friends.
They were all born a few weeks before and after me so basically we're all around the same age. We are hoping to go to the same playhouse and nursery so we can get to know each other more.

1. Diya Sanghvi- Her mummy is my mommy's childhood friend. Diya & me also intend to keep that friendship going.
2. Jenaya Shah- Her mummy is my papa's cousins wife.
3. Rishvi Jain- Her mummy and my mommy took a parenting class together when they had us in their tummies.
4. Triesha Dharia- Her mummy and my mommy took a parenting class together when they had us in their tummies.
5. Last of all, a Boy! Sumer- I haven't met him yet. His mummy doesn't take him out much. He is the youngest amongst all of us.

These are the friends that I made from the day I was born.

My 1st solids - yummm...!

I'm a big girl now.
My mommy has decided that I am ready for some outside food that will give me extra nutrients so that I can start crawling & walking soon. On 8th March, I had my first taste of Rice Cereal. I wasn't completely sure what to think of the flavor but it is something I'd like to explore some more in the future. I 2 days after starting with Rice Cereal, I also had some daal water which I quite liked. Each day my mommy gives me more so that I develop a liking for it and in 7 days, I will eat some mashed veggies & fruits....yummmm!

I am already rolling, sitting up, standing for a few seconds with support. I am a quick learner :)

Since I was 3 months old I found my voice and I love to screech & shout loudly. I am even able to scare the neighbors through walls and doors. But I am a great entertainer for my nana-nani, papa- mummy. I am also crying much less because I enjoy playing more than wasting my energy in whining. Playing if fun!

Nana-Nani's home (NCPA Apartments)

So...after being born in Breach Candy hospital, my parents brought me home to nana-nani's home 2 days later.

This is me few hours after being born.

Actually my mom & me were to stay here only for 40 days but our stay got extended due to major renovation work at my papa's house in Shanaz building. My dada-dadi & kaka are eagerly waiting for me to move back. They are so thrilled to have me in their family. After 55 years a girl is born in their family so they're very happy about my arrival:) My dadi comes to see me at nani's house very often to play with me.Initially I cried when she held me but now I am trying to get used to new people.

As much as my mom & me miss my papa; we're also loving it here with nana & nani. Nani leaves work late and comes home early so she can spend time with me and sing some gujrati songs for me and teach me some actions along with the songs.
Nana...he loves me so much. I can make loud squeaky sounds with him for hours because he becomes a baby with me which I enjoy.

My mom also has a pet cat who's name is Meeow and he looks absolutely cute. I sometimes get confused if hes a walking toy or a living thing. They love me too much and buy me great clothes and toys everywhere they go. My cousin sisters; Veda, Pragnya & Pari come visit me every week which is great.

I can't wait to grow up and play with them. My nana has filled an entire cupboard of toys for all of us. He loves to spoil us. He is the best & perfect grandpa:)
